BATMAN : The Dark Knight was HYPE !!

This weekend, a week after the movie came out I finally decided to go to the theatre to see the new BATMAN. If you haven’t heard of this movie yet; it is probably because you just woke up from a long very long coma… Everyone is talking about, saying that this is the best movie of the year blablabla…

And you know what: It IS the best movie of the year; for sure, I would even say it is the best movie I have seen since Pulp Fiction. Here are few points why I think it is of the best movies of all time:

• The Joker (Heat Ledger) is amazing ! it is like Jack Nicholson acting but who would have smoke crack and take acid ! I am not a big fan of heath Ledger especially since the ridiculous/pervert movie “BrokeBack Mountain” but I have to admit that this guy had a lot of potential…
• The special effects are great (FYI: Two face)
• There is a lot of action
• Batman is shown as a human before a hero ; he gets hurt, he has feelings etc.
• The music was perfectly chosen, the atmosphere is impossible to describe you have to experience it

Felon Movie – NEW Trailer

The tagline of this movie is: “No Rules. No Hope. No Way Out”. I think this is going to be a good action movie. Plus it has been a while since media have talked “that much” of Val Kilmer.

Synopsis:

A loving family man with a promising future loses everything when he accidentally kills the burglar who broke into his home. Covicted of involuntary manslaughter, he is sentence to spend the next three years inside a maximum security facility where the rules of society no longer apply.

Watchmen Movie NEW Trailer !!

This is going to be the coolest movie EVER…why ? uh let’s see:

• This was already the most read comic novel of all time
• This is going to be directed by the guy who made the movie “300″.

The expectation are going to be huge… I can’t wait for 2009 but I just hope this is not going to be another quickly done comic novel movie where the producers give a twice more money in marketing than in the actual movie development. According to this trailer it looks pretty promising.

Here is the Synopsis: The story is set in an alternate 1985 where superheroes exist, Richard Nixon is still president, and tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union are at an all-time high. The vigilante Rorschach is investigating the murder of the Comedian and uncovers a plot to discredit and murder various heroes. Rorschach discovers a far wider-ranging conspiracy involving his colleagues’ past which could completely change the course of history…
